Desert Moon Embrace

Studio Painting from Plein Air Study done in Baja, MX. Woke up from my perch on the roof and saw this spectacular site and had to paint it. As the Full moon was making it's way to set into the desert mountains, they lit up from the first sun's rays rising up from the Sea of Cortez. It was a site so beautiful and diverse and I knew the moment there painting was a gift from the divine.
