This painting was my VIP Painting for the Desert Plein Air Exhibit in Palm Desert.
"Celestial Glory” captures the transcendent beauty of a desert sunset, inspired by plein air studies from the breathtaking landscapes of Baja. This painting immortalizes the fleeting moment when the desert sky ignites in a symphony of light and color. The ethereal clouds, bathed in vivid oranges and soft rose hues, evoke an otherworldly joy, crescendoing into a luminous celebration of nature’s grandeur. The interplay of texture and light creates a sense of depth and wonder, inviting viewers to lose themselves in the ephemeral magic of twilight in the desert.
